- Our meeting Monday was a discussion involving on the origins of Judeo-Christian holidays as well as hero myths in the Mediterraneanand their similarity to Judeo-Christian claims. We put off electiondiscussions for now due to the lack of attendance among eligiblevoting members but I will try to keep everyone up to date on theelections for leadership positions for next year.
- In other news Brandon Christen will having a formal debate with wellknown preacher Brother Jed Smock this upcoming Monday (16th) at 4pm inthe Ozark Room, in the UCC dorm. The topic is “Can one be consistentlymoral without God?” Brandon will be arguing in the affirmative thatone can, indeed, be consistently moral. Brother Jed will be taking thenegative.
